Apple stampng

Most of September has been beautiful weather for exploring out of
doors, and we've done plenty of that!
Then came the rains... so we have lots of crafty things coming up for
the children to do.
I'm all stocked up on finger paints, glitter glue, markers, etc.

Here we are making apple stamps.
We took a fine looking apple, cut in half, and dipped in finger paint
(works better as it's nice and thick). t
Then we used a fork poked in to lift the apple onto the paper.
After a few apples were stamped, we changed the color, and added
glitter.
We also used 2 plates of paint and let the children experiment with
blending colours on the two plates as they dipped their apples in them.

I love how each project came out unique, and they are proudly
displayed on my Wall of Fame in the front hallway.
