Balancing act

For this trick, you need thick paper or card stock, a cool looking
bird to colour and cut out - and it has to by symmetrical.
After colouring and cutting out, glue one penny on each wing, just at
the tip.
Then use the tip of your finger to hold the bird just under it's
beak, and you can walk all over without it falling off!
We practiced slow at first, then even had the paper bird going up and
down, as if it was flying!

Here is one of the boys balancing the bird, all by himself!
