story time - featured book

Today for story time we read a book called 'The Neighborhood Mother Goose' by Nina Crews. This urban adaptation is so much fun to read! The photographs are edited to go along with the rhymes in such a fun way!

I would highly suggest this book to anyone who wants to go back to their favourite nursery rhymes with a fresh outlook. The author drew her inspiration from her Brooklyn neighbourhood for the artwork, and I love it! Reminds me a bit of the sesame street neighbourhood.
