We went out first thing this morning to the Elevator Park. We explored different plants and bugs on the way. We were quite excited to watch a grasshopper hop right over us!
Today we made up some new songs together. The children would call out an animal or thing, and we'd make up a rhyme with sounds for it.
Here are some of the songs we made:
Helicopters fly up top.
Chop! Chop! Chop!
Airplanes fly up in the sky,
Way up high!
Jet planes Zip across so fast!
Zoom! Zoom! Zoom!
(I know, that doesn't rhyme, but they liked it that way)
Geese are flying near the pond,
Honk! Honk! Honk!
