As some of you may know, I've been spending some time recently to update our learning activities. We have new printable pages, as well as puzzles and other early literacy pages I've cut out and laminated. Some of these will be for cirlce time, some are for quiet time, some are geared for group and individual activities.
We tried some of these ones out today. The children enjoyed working as a group to match all the ABC puzzles together, and they helped each other out when sorting the fish number pieces to its corresponding number card.
Later on we read the new sight word books I printed off for the children to colour. They really liked the Fireman booklet, and each child will have their own book to take home!
We also played with lace-up shapes today, and watched some sesame street during quiet time.
The Duplo blocks were among the children's favourite activities today, and once or twice we had to talk about not getting 'mine-itis' by sharing with each other. Believe it or not, the yellow blocks were highly coveted today. :)
