Tuesday's play date

Tuesday's play date went very well. We are trying to get in as much
play time as possible before back to school week sets in.
We brought cut up cantaloupe for snack, and our friends brought out some other snacks to share.

The children heard a truck coming by, but couldn't tell exactly what
kind it was. Was it a garbage truck, a construction truck...? We
ran around to the front of the house to see, and it was a street
sweeper. Now they know what that new sound is! We were also able to
see a garbage truck pull up to the new street behind the pond of
Peach Blossom (since I'm not aware of an official name, that's what I
hereby deem it to be). We had a great view of it from Elizabeth's
back yard.
